Last month in June, North Star Naturalist's annual Wildflower Photography Workshop returned with another group of curious, eager, and talented (!) participants.
On a warm, overcast day in Point Loma, we discussed a variety of photography techniques, tried out new perspectives, got to know our phone cameras better, and took a deep dive into manual camera settings, light, and color theory.
Below are some of the best shots our group captured during the workshop. Again and again, folks exclaimed how making small changes can yield such big improvements in their photos. We were also reminded once more of the relaxing power of spending time — and paying close attention to — nature's beauty.
