Raised in the desert, educated on the coasts, and happiest on the trails, I’ve made it my life’s work to share the science and stories of the natural world with others — including you.

As a naturalist guide and science communicator based in San Diego, my goal is simple: connect people with nature. Whether we’re exploring tidepools, hiking through sage scrub, or searching for wildflowers, every tour is designed to be fun, refreshing, and eye-opening — a way to rediscover the wild beauty that surrounds us every day.

My background spans marine science, science communication, and environmental education, blending research and storytelling to make the outdoors come alive. Over the years, I’ve worked in ocean research, science journalism, museum education, social media, tour guiding, and fine art — each experience strengthening how I help others see nature in new ways.

I hold a B.S. in Marine Science, an M.S. in Science Communication, and a Certified Interpretive Guide credential (C.I.G.), and I’m Wilderness First Aid certified (NOLS) — ensuring that your experience is both professional and safe.
