Celebrate harvest season and get inspired to plant native!
We'll start with a short, easy walk through an urban canyon and dive into the fascinating world of seeds—from their incredible biology to the many ways they shape our cultures and ecosystems.
Then we'll explore why planting native is a win-win for everyone, discussing which plants are best for beginners (and balconies), how to pick plants for your priorities, and where to get native plants and seeds in San Diego. Guests will also receive their very own native garden starter kit with local resources and carefully selected local seeds from the California Native Plant Society!
