About the event
Summer low tides in San Diego happen in the wee hours of the morning. Though many of us need caffeine to come alive, the critters on the coast are super active at this time. Within 100 feet, you can discover a whole galaxy of tiny worlds among kelp-covered rocks—each pool is filled with amazing animals that thrive and survive at the edge of land and sea.
Join me for a quiet, peaceful morning in the pools — it's summer beach fun without the summer beach crowds. I'll bring the tea, you bring your travel mug!
