About the event
Gather 'round the glow! Join North Star Naturalist for an evening filled with bugs, blacklights, and endless curiosity. Attracted to a sheet illuminated by ultraviolet light, insects and arachnids are an exciting way to learn about your local wildlife.
Moths, beetles, and true bugs are just a few of the critters often seen at a black-lighting sheet. For the brave, this event is a great way to get up close and personal. For the cautious, bug binoculars are available.
Bring a folding chair, a flashlight, and a friend! Come and go as you like between 8 and 11pm. Youngsters highly encouraged to attend!
* Minimal walking required - this is not a hike!
* Parking is free
* Bring a flashlight if you have one. Extra points if it's ultraviolet :)
